Soft & Sweet Dolls

I made these Soft and Sweet dolls just for small babies. I have worked with young children for years, and as a teacher, caregiver, and mom, I wanted to create a doll so soft and sweet that it would be just right for babies and parents.

First things first, it had to be safe, so I created hands, faces, and tails, that were sewn down, and faces that are embroidered on. No glue, paint, fur, or anything else for the baby to choke on.

Second, it had to have a tab so it could be attached to a stroller, car seat, or bouncy chair.

Third, it had to be appealing to look at. Babies love faces, so I made the face very simple and easy to identify parts on.

Fourth, the shape of the doll had to be simple and easy to hold, but just the right size, small enough to fit in a diaper bag, but big enough to hug.
