Notice Board
Make a notice
board from your favorite fabrics. For instructions click

The following are a few samples of notice boards I have already made. They
are double sided, so you can have a lot of fun mixing fabrics or use two
different colors to suit your mood!
This board is 16" X 20" foam core covered with Michael Miller fabric and
Martha Stewart ribbon. I made it for a friend, but liked the fabric so much I'm
going to make another for myself! :-D

With this board, I criss-crossed
ribbons across the front of the board, then secured them to the back with glue
before gluing the fabric onto the back of the board. Then I glued buttons to the
the front of the ribbon where it intersects.

I made this notice board to hold my collection of vintage and reproduction trade
cards. I used vintage and new buttons and pretty green sage ribbon to offset the
vintage colors - kind of shabby chic.

The white buttons are vintage and the pink one is new.

I made these two notice boards using cork from an office supply store.

For this board I used foam core, which is very light weight and can be cut
to most any size and shape, but doesn't last as long with tacks.

For this board I recycled an old skirt that I hadn't worn for some time -
the ribbon was already on the skirt!
