Materials and CPSIA

Special Orders

I can take special orders for any of the items you see on my website. Just use the "Contact Me" link on the left, and let me know the following information:

1. Name of each family member, and if you would like the names on the bottom of each doll or not.
2. Ages of children
3. Skin tone for each doll
4. Hair color, length, style (like pigtails or bun).
5. Eye color, eyes open or closed, glasses.
6. Cheeks or no cheeks (men usually don't want cheeks)
7. Freckles if you have them
8. Mouth with open smile or closed smile
9. General colors for spool (pastel, summer brights, cool tones, etc.)
10. A photo is also very helpful, or at least an idea of height.
11. If pet, general description including markings, and a photo or breed name so I can look them up. Please note; I cannot make dogs with long noses. The shape of the spool and the round head are the limiting factors.

EXAMPLE: Lisa; white skin, brown hair with pigtails, blue eyes open, freckles, mouth open, pink on spool with flowery paper.

For Fabric Folk Dolls please let me know fabric preferences, doll size (small, medium, or large), and skin, hair, and eye color.

For Soft & Sweet dolls, please specify fabric preferences, and specify lamb, baby, monkey, or cat.

Please allow 2 to 6 weeks for completion, on a first come first serve basis.

PRICING for Special Orders:
Spool Dollies: All adults and children are $10.00 each, Toddlers and Babies are $4.00 each. Pets are $7.00 each.
Fabric Folk Dolls: Large $35.00, Medium $23.00, Small $18.00.
Soft & Sweet Dolls: All $15.00.

PLEASE NOTE: Because I use vintage spools, spool sizes vary and are not always available. I keep a good variety of different heights on hand so I will work with you to find the right fit. Also, due to their small size, toddler, baby, and pet size spools are often new spools, and not vintage.

Skin Tone Options

From left to right: Ivory, Flesh tone, Tan, Mocha, Chocolate.

Hair Color Options

From left to right: (First Photo) Blonde, Red, Brown and (Second Photo): Dark Auburn, Dark Brown, Black.

You can also choose grey or white, or a unique color of your choice like pink or blue.

Girls

Hair Decorations for Girls

I can add flowers, bows, ribbons, hearts, holly, or other decorations to the hair.

Boys Hair Options

With softened hair line, or with a more formal smooth hairline.

Eye Color and Style

Eyes Closed (girls only), or eyes open.

From left to right (Photo 1) light blue, indigo blue, green, or (Photo 2) brown, brown, black, or brown.

Cheeks

You can choose to have no cheeks or cheeks on your Dollie.

Mouth

The first 2 girls have closed smiles and the second 2 have open smiles.

Freckles

Freckles can go on just the cheeks or across cheeks and nose.

Names on Dolls

I can write a name on the bottom of the spool next to my initials and the year, or...

I can paint names on the front of the spool IF there is space for an additional fee of $2.00 per spool.

Spool Dollies Babies

This picture shows the size difference between the dollies. The babies are in front, and a  small dollie with short brown hair, a medium dollie with blonde hair, and a large dollie with brown hair are just behind them. Babies are made with new wood spools, not vintage.
