Teddy Bears

I make these bears from a pattern I developed myself many years ago. I made a little pot belly for them and I wanted their behinds to round out a little more than average. When I sew them using long thick furs the bears end up looking a little like an Ewok or the gopher from the movie Caddy Shack, in other words, like a toddler body. When I use medium to short fur they look much more 'bear like'.

These are a few of my bears. I made this cream color one for my baby, with blue eyes to match. He also has a little music box inside. Also pictured is a slightly larger white bear, a little gray bear, and a little pink mohair bear with hand-blown glass eyes.
